OFFICIAL 2020 OAKLAND RUNNING FESTIVAL WEEKEND PARTNERS.

What to do in the town to really take in the weekend spirit.

Are you local, live nearby or out of towner? Check out our partners and receive discounts throughout the weekend with your race bib.

Oaklandish started in 2000 as a public art project designed to illuminate Oakland’s local history and unique cultural legacy. After years of covert multi-media stunts around the Town, the Oaklandish brand of apparel was introduced to help support our ongoing calendar of public events and pro bono work.

Our mission is to spread “local love” by way of our civic pride-evoking tees and accessories, while creating quality inner city jobs for locals, and giving back to the people and places that maintain our city’s trailblazer spirit. So, wear it well. When you rock these roots, you’re representing and supporting Oakland!

DRAKE’S DEALERSHIP

Visit our Beer Sponsor! Drake’s Dealership is a full-service restaurant with 32 beers on tap, that includes an indoor bar, growler filling station, and retail store with bottles and merchandise to go.

The crown jewel of the beautiful space is a grand open-air beer garden, featuring fire pits, Adirondack seating, and live music several days a week. This classic brick building on Oakland’s historic Broadway Auto Row was once the sales and service department of an old Dodge Dealership. Enjoy a wood-fired pizza created by Chef Taylor Smith and sample our fresh beer, brewed in the East Bay.

A favorite way to think of our park was summed up in San Francisco magazine. Children’s Fairyland, they said, is “as miniature and uncynical as a toddler’s beating heart.” We agree. Children’s Fairyland is, in many ways, a timeless reminder of the joys of standing three-feet tall.

Explore this section to find out more about our famous storybook sets, almost 70-year history, and the dedicated people who make it all possible.

Having a birthday at Fairyland is a real Oakland tradition. For 70 years, childhood memories have been made here. 2020 reservations are now open — book your child’s special day!
