Hulnick Joins CSE Staff to Manage Sales and Development

Oakland, CA(January 26, 2016) – Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today it hired Richard Hulnick as Director of Sales and Development and Assistant Race Director at its Oakland, California office. Hulnick brings a wealth of running industry expertise to the role, including race management, charitable partnerships and fundraising, business development, corporate sponsorships, public relations and consulting.

Hulnick created and managed the Charity Running Program for the New York City Marathon and New York Road Runners (NYRR) from 2005-2013. The charity program he established raised more than $190 million during his tenure with the NYRR.

Lee Corrigan, president of Corrigan Sports Enterprises, said, “Richard’s vast knowledge and versatile background dealing with all facets of the race management business will prove to be a huge asset for our organization in the Bay Area and especially our Oakland Running Festival. As we enter our seventh year for the festival (March 20), I feel the addition of Richard to our staff will help take that event to the next level.”

Hulnick most recently served as principal for RJH Consulting Group in New York, where he consulted with event companies and nonprofits to increase revenue through event fundraising, development opportunities, sponsorships and cause marketing platforms. In this role he worked with clients such as the San Francisco Marathon and the Spartan Race.
