Whether it is your first or fifth time running the Oakland Running Festival Team Relay, you need to watch this video for the 2017 relay transportation information. Also, team relay members will notice that their bib number is only accessible by entering the team name or team captain’s last name during the bib lookup process. Any of the team members may pick up on behalf of the entire team as long as they have the bib number for their team. On race day, only the leg 4 runner will receive their medal after crossing the finish line.
Legs 1-3 can receive their medal, as long as they are wearing their bib, by entering at the relay tent along the finish line shoot. Runners can enter to collect their medal and other post race amenities.
Remember: only the team captain’s name will show up during the bib look up process. As long as that number is presented during the bib pickup process, all team members will be able to pick up their bib. One member of the team is also permitted to pick up on behalf of the entire team.
