You’re invited to conquer five iconic Bay Area races in 12 months!

The “Bay Area Challenge” offers a unique and thrilling experience for both seasoned athletes and first-time runners. Participants can complete any distance in the San Francisco Marathon, Giant Race, Berkeley Half Marathon, Oakland Marathon, as well as the San Jose Half Marathon & 8K.

Challenge participants who complete each event (any distance) once during the 2024-2025 challenge cycle will earn a unique Challenge medal.

Interested runners can join anytime to complete their challenge with virtual races if applicable also qualifying.

Qualifying Races (2024-2025):

• The Oakland Marathon – March 23, 2025
• The San Jose Half & 8K – June 1, 2025
• San Francisco Marathon – July 27-28, 2024
• The Giant Race – August 17, 2024
• The Berkeley Half Marathon – November 16 & 17, 2024
