Celebrate community, connection, and movement as we partner with a different local run club each day, leading up to our official Under Armour Shakeout Run on Saturday, March 22!
Runs are open to all paces and abilities—whether or not you’re registered for the Oakland Marathon. Bring your friends, family, and good vibes!

Monday: Women's Run Club East Bay

Kickoff Oakland Run week with us & WRC East Bay! Enjoy routes of 4-8 miles & some post run pizza & tunes!
Tuesday: Lake Merritt Joggers & Striders
Lake Merritt Amphitheater - Oakland
Tuesday, March 18th – 6PM
Join LMJS, one of the East Bay’s oldest running clubs & official training partners of the Oakland Marathon, for some fun loops around the Lake followed by a post run hangout at Mad Oak Bar ‘N’ Yard (135 12th St, Oakland)
Wednesday: Town Strides x Oakland Track Club
Snow Park - Oakland
Wednesday, March 19th – 6PM
Meet us for some fun at Snow Park! We’ll be doing some warmup drills followed by a few miles around Lake Merritt. Then enjoying the cool down at NOSSO (532 8th St, Oakland) with some tunes by WoatherejeyÂ

Join Oakland Track Club & a consortium of some of our favorite run clubs for a Shake-Out Run! It’s the perfect opportunity to get in the zone, meet fellow runners, and get ready for the big day. And of course, enjoy some post run tacos!
Friday: Renegade Running
Renegade Running - 45 Grand Ave, Oakland
Friday, March 21st – 5:30PM
Meet up at Oakland-based run shop Renegade Running for a light run, followed by sign making, pizza, beer & a live set from Run Local’s DJ Jay Sumabat!
Saturday: Under Armour Shakeout Run
Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts
Saturday, March 22nd – 9:00am Check-in
Join Under Armour and Run Local Events for a shakeout run around Lake Merritt the day before the big race!
