Bay Area-based events company to manage and present deep-rooted mid-March community event after purchase from Corrigan Sports Enterprises
OAKLAND, Calif. – (January 19, 2023) – After a decade of growing the Oakland Running Festival into a community-wide celebration and must-do on a runner’s annual calendar, Corrigan Sports Enterprises has sold the property to Bay Area-based events company Run Local®. The 2023 edition takes place on Sunday, March 19 with distances for every runner, including the Marathon (26.2 miles), Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon (13.1 miles), Heritage Bank of Commerce 10K (6.2 miles), The Total Dental Health Care 5K (3.1 miles) and the Eat. Learn. Play. Kids Fun Run.
