If you ran any event at the Oakland Marathon (March 23, 2025) and then run any distance at the San Francisco Marathon (July 27, 2025) you can pick up your 2025 challenge medal at the San Francisco Marathon!

No need to do anything special to be eligible, just make sure you sign up with the exact same name and birth date at both races. 

**Once you are a challenge qualifier at your second qualifying event, the challenge starts over.

** All in-person distances qualify excluding the Family 1K or Virtual (SFM)

** Kids’ fun run events excluded (Oakland)

Award pickup instructions

– Medals must be picked up at the bib pickup tables at the Expo or the Solutions Tent at the Finish Line Festival
